    About WHO Scholarships 2022

The World Health Organization (WHO) was founded on April 7, 1948, when their Constitution went into effect — a date we now commemorate every year as World Health Day. WHO aims to promote health, keep the globe secure, and help the vulnerable all across the world.

The WHO’s goal is to give universal health coverage to a billion more people, protect a billion more people from health emergencies, and improve the health and well-being of another billion people and also offer   scholarship for developing countries. WHO, as the United Nations’ leading and coordinating body on international health, upholds the UN values of integrity, professionalism, and respect for diversity.

The WHO workforce’s values also reflect the Organization’s ethical standards as well as the concepts of human rights, universality, and equity enshrined in its Constitution.

These values are inspired by the WHO vision of a world in which all people achieve the best possible level of health, as well as our purpose to promote health, keep the world safe, and assist the vulnerable, all while having a quantifiable impact on people at the country level. We are committed, both personally and collectively, to putting these ideals into action.

The world health organisation is committed in building great future leaders in health sector so it provides scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As a result, students and young professionals from various cultural, academic, and geographic backgrounds are among the participants.

They must, however, share a shared interest. And this is a driving force for me to pursue a career in public health.

Interns and volunteers also come from the African and Asian continents. Interns from Peru, Trinidad and Tobago also worked for WHO.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Turkey, Japan, and Jamaica are just a handful of the countries represented. And they come from a variety of academic backgrounds.
